Hotel McCoy Tucson

This place was so perfect to stay at for our Tucson trip! I loved the vibe of the whole place, and I appreciate the dedication to support local artists! I wish we had time to use all the amenities they offer! The service was so friendly as well. We loved our room-we ended our nights watching TV on their big screens and it was nice to unwind after some active days. The only thing I wish is that the beds were a little comfier-we both had sore backs by the end of our stay. They weren’t totally uncomfortable, just a little more stiff than we were used to! Even so, I would still book here again as I think it’s a much better experience than a typical hotel!

This was my first stay at Hotel McCoy - I made a reservation there as the price was reasonable and it looked like a more interesting place than a typical motel. The location is convenient, not far from the freeway but far enough that I didn't notice traffic noise. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. I was texted an entry code for my room door so there was no key or card key to deal with, which was nice. It's a one-story place, which I always like, and while the buildings themselves are older everything has been nicely renovated and I appreciated the arty touches throughout the entire motel - inside my room, on exterior walls, and in the lobby and other common areas. My room was medium sized and a bit sparsely furnished though some of the 1950s period pieces were a very nice touch. The bed was large and comfortable, there was a small desk and chair, mini-fridge with freezer comparten, big TV, and good A/C that was not too noisy. There was no microwave or coffeemaker in the room. The vanity area and separate bathroom with tub/shower were very nice. ||A cool amenity was the complimentary beer or wine on tap at the bar area next to the check-in desk of the lobby, and I enjoyed a beer after settling into my room. There's a lounge area adjacent to the lobby and a large breakfast room next to that. The complimentary breakfast was distinctive - besides coffee, tea, fruit, and bread for toast, the main offering was a bowl of oatmeal with a large array of toppings available. There are a number of other options available at an additional charge for breakfast as well as for beer, wine, cocktails, non-alcoholics drinks, and light food choices. Overall this was a comfortable and very memorable stay for me at Hotel McCoy and I'd gladly stay there again.

The hotel and staff are charming and we truly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. We love that we get to park right in front of our room. We had a wonderful time in the warm pool. The breakfast was yummy. The location of the hotel is ideal to move around all parts of town. It was a good stay.

Stayed here for a week during our tour in Tucson and really enjoyed it. The rooms are clean, with a very big TV and a nice sitting area right outside the door. Breakfast is simple but enough to start the day, and I love that they welcome pets too! The whole vibe is super chill, colorful, and creative. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere just makes you feel at home. The hotel’s right off the highway, not in the city center, so having a car is definitely helpful. It’s not really a walkable area if you’re looking for food or a mini market nearby, but it’s still a great place to come back to and relax. Only small downsides: the AC can be a bit loud and the door was sometimes tricky to close. But overall, such a fun and comfortable stay!

Thank you, Hotel McCoy for a magical stay!! This was our first time visiting Tucson and I have never been so inspired and uplifted by a hotel experience in my life. This special roadside retreat is its own attraction. The entire property is so creative, amazing, and thoughtful, it's like stepping into a dream from the moment you arrive. Friendly, welcoming staff and service, beautiful hand-painted murals, local art, pinball machines, board games, ping pong table, heated saltwater pool and fire pit for cool desert nights, keyless entry, comfy, cozy rooms and parking spaces right in front of your room. And their OATMEAL BAR is chef's kiss!!! Hotel McCoy is in a league of its own and we can't wait to return.

Hotel McCoy is a great place to stay in Tuscon. The location is convenient and the customer service from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was excellent. We enjoyed the gym, the warm salt water swimming pool and its pool side shower. We also enjoyed the breakfast with its many toppings oatmeal bar. Victor, the night shift staff always greeted us with his friendly smile and he was very helpful. We enjoyed very much our stay and the pet friendly surroundings. We highly recommend Hotel McCoy for everyone.

I recently completed an eight night stay at Hotel McCoy and couldn't be more pleased with how things went there. All areas, especially my room, were exceptionally clean and the place really had a fun and funky retro vibe.The amazing oatmeal bar(yes, it is possible) was a great way to start each day and in the evening it morphs into a fun little craft beer and wine bar. The location is excellent, situated very close to two interstates(10 and 19) and very convenient to interesting sites, as well as the airport. Despite the proximity to these major roadways, noise was not an issue for me. Lastly, the staff was very friendly and cheerful. About the only negative was that in the evening, my room did not have very good light for reading. A very well-lit bathroom area kind of made up for this, however. All this and very reasonable rates with parking right outside your door. Would definitely stay here again!!

It’s rare to rave about oatmeal, but this one deserves the spotlight! In short, this hotel goes above and beyond. Whether you're here for business or a relaxing getaway, expect to be impressed. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
