Super 8 by Wyndham Chico

Yes this is my seventh time that I’ve been here in Chico always pick the super eight cause it is convenient right off the freeway. Staff is always nice and regular it’s always good to see the same faces. |The rooms are clean air conditioner works the room usually has all the amenities such as refrigerator a microwave a blow, dryer, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner in the bathroom plenty of towels.|The swimming pool is spectacular.|They have three stories and they’re always very considerate to give me the lower level. I love oh yes, and they serve continental breakfast we as a family love it. We will continue to stay here. my next day will be in October.

I stay here once a week for work. It is always clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff is friendly and efficient. They were attentive and helpful the one time that I encountered a sketchy person lurking in the parking lot. They got them to leave. Aside from that I haven't encountered any other issues in the lot or surroundings. It is very convenient to route 99. Its also next door to a Denny's and about a mile from other food options, both fast food and grocery stores. The hotel is generally quiet even when there are a lot of construction crews staying there. The only reason I give 4 stars on rooms is because there is no elevator and staying on the 3rd floor requires walking up. Not a big deal if you're not carrying a lot.

This place is awesome. Quiet, clean, and the grounds are very well kept….This Super 8 has it down. Barry the manager is very personable and nice. I’ve paid more for a lot of places, that weren't nearly as good. Best value for your dollar….9 out 10 stars.

Nicely kept and clean. Location is a bit tricky, however still enjoyed it. Price was good for the area. Enjoyed the breakfast a couple of days. Has laundry at location, nice option. Room was good size for a couple. Lots of storage options. Nice bathroom with amenities.

So, I booked a room for my friend to stay at this hotel and she wasn't going to be coming in until 1a-2a because she was driving 14hours from San Diego and was stopping in my city along the way. I specifically put in the booking information that she wasn't going to be arriving until this time so they would know when to expect her. She shows up at the hotel with the booking confirmation in hand ready to check in after driving a long way, and they REFUSED to check her in. She kept telling them over and over that she had a reservation and they refused to let her check into her hotel room that I paid for. They told her that if she wanted to check in she would have to wait until a certain time and then they would check her in. She then came back at the time they told her she could check in and they still REFUSED her. I am appalled at how they treated my friend and I will never recommend anyone to ever stay at this establishment. If you want a place that will actually treat you right, go spend your money at Double Tree in Chico because after she was disrespected that this establishment, they kindly helped her out and gave her a room.

It was very good! I liked the red desk lamp! ||The bathroom shower is not so great. It worked okay for its purpose. However, I am disappointed in the lack of support from the staff. ||It was not very clean . ||No comment

Good location and parking, room was gross and smelled of smoke. Pool had no towels and broken chairs. Found a roach in the bathroom and got grief over the early check in I paid for, owner argued with me trying to say I must have used another website, only changed when I showed him the confirmation. Tried the excuse of "well you have not been charged for it yet" well duh I did not get charged for anything until check out. Stayed here several times before with no issue. Will not be staying again. Also wifi was slow and kept booting me. Was only using a tablet for movies.

Overall it was good few days. I've stayed here before awhile back so I know the accommodations. For the price it's fair. Rooms are decent. Cleanliness and freshness is fair. Maybe bed is little hard and pillows are not the best but has free continental breakfast w/ make your waffles, a decent pool outside but was cold and raining. Glad was able to get a bottom floor, top only stairs, no elevator. It was a full house so I did hear sounds from above and next to the side door to the laundry room but by 10pm was fairly quite the rest of the night. Staffing i dealt with were cordial and hospitable. Area seems safe , it's at the end of a court close to the freeway, we'll lit and security cameras. Didn't hear the traffic on my side. Next door is a motel 8 and double tree but rather stay here looking for a decent price between these comparable accommodations. There is a Dennys around the corner. I would book again.
