Best Western Corte Madera Inn

This price in the bay area cannot be beat! It's set up more like a motel than a hotel, with the doors to the rooms leading outside. The complex consists of a cozy lounge where I came to work a couple of mornings using their free internet, several buildings of guest rooms, first floor and second floor, a pool & recreation area, and a building where free breakfast was served. The rooms aren't the most updated, but they are very clean. Our view was of the highway, but there are plenty of rooms that look out on the pool. We were there for Thanksgiving week, so using the pool was out of the question. However, that entire courtyard area is adorable, and I could envision it coming to life in the summer time. My one and only complaint is that the building where the free breakfast is provided is NOT heated. In November, that makes for a chilly first meal of the day. We ate in our coats! I would like to also add that the staff is extremely helpful and friendly! You will need a car here, as you are right in a busy suburb that is not conducive to walking or accessible to public transportation.

A great hotel. They have so many activities to do on the property and the breakfast was CRAZY. It is a separate restaurant style building on the property where your free breakfast is served. A lot of good food. They also have a huge pool and hot tub, ping pong tables, golfing, basketball etc.

The staff are always so friendly, they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is quiet , no freeway noise. Shopping center across the street with restaurants. We stay here when we have to travel to SF for medical appointments. 10 miles to Golden Gate Bridge, roughly 15 minutes travel time, depending on traffic. Highly recommend , they also have a huge pool.

The location of this hotel is great, easy access to main road. A little bit disappointed with the room though. I put in a request to have a room on the higher floor when I booked the hotel which was months ahead of my stay, I was put on the first floor. Being on the first floor, it kind of forced us to keep the blinds closed which then caused the room to be a bit dark. A suggestion would be to upgrade to lights in the room to bright LED light bulbs then the right would be much brighter with the blinds closed. Another disappointment was that they offer no water bottles in the room or vending machine to purchase them. I thought that's a must for a hotel. Maybe trying to cut cost, but then I thought their room rate wasn't cheap too. That said, the room has the bare minimum and clean. The breakfast is the best thing in the hotel. It comes with the room. It has hot food, fruits, cereal bar, yogurt bar, pancake making machine, coffee, tea, just a lot for a complimentary breakfast. The hotel was marked as a 3 stars hotel. I think it should be a 2 stars hotel.

We've been staying at the Corte Madera Best Western for about six years. We stay there when we visit San Francisco, which is a 10 to 15 minute drive across the Golden Gate Bridge. The hotel is affordable and has everything you need in each room: microwave, fridge, comfy beds, extra blankets, air conditioner... The free breakfast is great, from basics like cereal, muffins ,scrambled eggs and a meat, to special dishes like chunky roasted potato quarters with herbs and feta, watermelon slices, blueberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, and great steel cut oats. They also have a fabulous 25 yard outdoor heated pool. It's great for lap swimming and has a 3ft shallow end with a basketball net. There's a ping pong table and shuffle board on the pool deck, and a basketball half court in the garden area. Meeting rooms for businessed are available. Friendly, helpful desk staff and an amazing housekeeping staff that found and mailed me the gold earrings I forgot in our room. Many repeat customers. It's so nice there you'll want to come back over and over again.

We had a great relaxing stay at the BW Corta Madera motel. The pool is loverly and just the right temperature. The service folks were more than accommodating as they seemed to do their best at all times. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. TV was good and wifi too. There were many good places to eat and shop nearby, within walking distance. We could just relax during our stay.

Scenic quiet spot about 10 minutes from Golden gate bridge in Marin County, which is super nice area north of San Francisco. Excellent hot breakfast in a dedicated building, close to a nice mall, and facilities were clean throughout. Highly recommended for folks with kids, we definitely enjoyed the pool, spa, basketball and mini golf. Will definitely be back, we really enjoyed our trip from Oregon.

Great service, decent location, a fine motel. I just couldn't drive anymore that day and decided to stop here. The front desk agent got me into my room quickly. The bed was fine. I do not have much experience at Best Westerns, but am guessing this is one of the better ones. Not a pathetic place to stay if you need a rest. There is a nearby mall with some food options.
