Ponderosa Pizza Parlor

Three times now we have gotten pizza from this place and it's always the same thing!! Crap!!!! The pizza takes way longer than they say and this last time it was supposed to be 25 min and when it was pickup time the pizza was just going in the oven. " Oh it will be another 15 min. Pure BS!!!! THIS PLACE HAS GONE DOWN HILL. Have a great day

It's been a few years since going to Ponderosa. However, I do remember it a lot better. After placing our order, a meat lovers and breadsticks. It took over an hour for our food to finally come up. Good thing we all shared a lg salad bar and crackers!. The topper was, our pizza had actually been sitting up in the kitchen for about 10min,... according to the one cook, but felt and tasted like 2x that amount of time. Just lukewarm. I guess he offered to take it back and remake it. Definitely the right thing to do, just the wrong scenario. Since it already took an hr to get the first one. On another note, the breadsticks were nice and hot, fresh out of the oven delicious. Just wish the rest had been. Sorry Ponderosa sadly... none of us will be back... yes, we all live, & work locally Cheers

Got a half Hawaiian & half vegetarian. Used canned mushrooms instead of fresh. The crust could use a lot of help. Customer Service is top-notch. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

There were three of us. We ordered a half pepperoni and half Canadian bacon pizza and an order of potatoes. I checked out the salad bar and decided not to risk it. 🤢 The pizza crust was like cardboard and the potatoes were undescribably bland and weird tasting. It cost about $50 for this disappointing meal.

This was a pleasant suprise! Service was polite and quick, employees were professional and on point! The special of the night was ample food served hot and fresh, reasonably priced. Decor was comfortable, outdoorsy, tv for those that wanted it, and arcades for kids! Saw the fried chicken and Jojo's, it looked delicious! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍗🍗🍗🍗🍟🍟🍟 We will definitely go back! This place used to be way better. Last two times was just ok. Went yesterday and chicken and spuds were burned. Two gentleman were working and had zero personality. Said not one word to us. Horrible service. Sad. Salad bar needs blue cheese

We love to stop here after after fishing on Paulina or East Lake. Such a friendly hometown place with superb cracker thin crusty pizza. And...dare I say it? Pepsi. Mmmmm

I had not eaten here in over 25 years and my memories of it placed high expectation for continued greatness. Sadly, it fell quite short. We had 2 family sized pizzas, a meat lovers and a Hawaiian. The meat lovers suffered a lack of toppings and the sausage flavor tasted a bit off, but at least it had flavor. The Hawaiian was topped ok but the Canadian bacon had no flavor. Their crust has no body, not flakey or crisp, just paper like. The sauce is lifeless and all toppings flavorless. We had a few pieces and decided it was definitely under cooked so we popped them in the oven for a bit. It helped the under cooked issue but made them no better. I'm not saying don't eat here. It's a low bar world now for parlor style pizza and it's edible for sure. Beats the rest in LaPine.

We ordered take out for the first time here in like 10 years to see if it was any good, it was not. The staff were great, parlor was good and rustic but pizza was blah crust not good. Canned mushrooms on veggie pizza and no tomatoes. Very disappointing as we were hoping to find something good!

First time going here and unfortunately had a bad experience and I don't think I'll be returning. I ordered a chicken barbecue pizza and the person on the phone read it back to us and it was correct but when we went to pick up the pizza the order was wrong and I instead got a BBQ bacon cheeseburger pizza which I didn't order. I'm not a fan of bacon or hamburger on pizza and when asked to remake it they declined and gave us chicken on the side instead. The cashier seemed out of it and rude. I work in food service and I would have absolutely remade it. Besides that the food was good for everyone else but I ended up eating something else.

First time trying this place. Not impressed at all. No sauce on my pizza and overall lacking in flavor. Cardboard crust too. Would have expected a much better pizza for the price they’re charging, $33.95 for a medium.
